About Us -
Formerly trading as GV Filtered Water Coolers, Filter World Pty. Ltd. commenced operating in 1995 and has steadily grown over the years into a very successful and popular business proving indispensable to many customers through-out the district. Water is a very important part of life and our business has recognised the need for a supply of fresh, healthy drinking water at an affordable price. As a distributor for many major Australian Water Cooler Companies we are able to supply you with a full range of products, parts and accessories, and thanks to our large supplier base have access to the best and latest products available on the market, fulfilling our company aim to provide YOU the customer with the best service, product and price!
The owners of Filter World P/L., Gary and Dianne McNamara, are very committed to making sure that customer satisfaction is both obtained and maintained. Gary has been the Director of the Company since 2001 and over this time has developed an excellent rapport with his customers, ensuring that all receive the appropriate advice and service.
Prior to buying GV Filtered Water Coolers, Gary spent twenty years serving in the Australian Defence Force (RAN - Navy/RAAF - Airforce) as an Aircraft Electrical Technician. During this time he developed excellent management skills and work practices as well as coming to recognise the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Gary still focuses on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise and appropriate diet, however he feels a most important part of anyone's personal health is to drink plenty of pure, fresh water, and is proud that through his business he is able to assist so many people by supplying the best water at the best price. On a social note, Gary enjoys playing and teaching golf in his spare time.
Dianne also has a passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. As a qualified Naturopath she knows the importance of drinking pure, clean water and regrets that so much of our natural water is contaminated by chemicals and other pollutants. She states "It is essential that we all drink several glasses of water a day to help flush our bodies of toxins and assist our normal body functioning. Drinking sufficient water can also help constipation, minimise headaches caused by dehydration, and help weight loss." On a personal note, Dianne enjoys flying Microlight Aircraft and producing textile creations from carry bags to free form sculptures.
